About Teresa Girasoli, chemical engineer, AMIChemE, and the person who does the work

Sussex Compliance is led by Teresa Girasoli AMIChemE, a chemical engineer who has spent eight years in manufacturing quality, auditing suppliers and internal management systems in passive fire protection and fuel cells. She has passed the CQI and IRCA certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor course and is a trained ISO 14001 internal auditor. Her experience includes around 200 hours as lead auditor on first- and second-party audits across both standards: internal audits and supplier audits. From 2020 to 2025 she was Quality Engineer – Chemistry at Ceres Power, the fuel-cell technology company, where she ran supplier audits and internal ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 audits.

From 2018 to 2020 she was Quality and Development Manager at FSi, a passive fire protection manufacturer, where she coordinated the quality management system and led a five-person quality control team. At FSi she implemented ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 9001 at a distribution centre the company acquired. So when she audits your system, she knows what it takes to run one.

In 2019 BASA's Council chose her as one of two winners of the FEICA Prize for younger members of national associations, which took her to the FEICA European Adhesive & Sealant Conference in Dubrovnik.

Though we're called Sussex Compliance, we take on work anywhere in the UK: on-site audits, gap analysis, and retained quality support nationwide. Most consulting is delivered remotely; there is no travel charge in Sussex, Surrey, Kent, Hampshire or London, and elsewhere we charge 45p a mile from Brighton plus accommodation at cost where an overnight stay is needed.
